What another great year at Field Trip Music Festival at the historic Fork York grounds in Toronto.

Seriously, it’s one of the best run festivals out there. And the third edition did not disappoint. Plus, I got a fucking photo pass to shoot in the photo pit. That was cool. So, for you, here are some of my favourite moments from Day 1 of Field Trip. Standouts were definitely War on Drugs and Alabama Shakes. If you’d like to use any of my photos, please contact me here. I’m quick to respond.

Day 2 to come tomorrow, featuring Father John Misty (a.k.a my new religious leader).

  1. Great list of bands there. Alabama Shakes comes to Austin frequently and I still haven’t seen them. Wanted to buy tickets to Purity Ring when they were in town over Memorial weekend but they ended up selling out…then Austin flooded so they canceled anyway. Looks like a great concert.
