Sometimes you gotta go on a shotgun road trip. It’s good for the soul. On Friday, we packed up at work at lunch and drove straight to Cleveland—a solid 5 hour drive—to watch the Blue Jays play in Cleveland for both Game 1 and 2 of the American League Championship Series.

We lost both games.

But Cleveland rocked. It’s at the intersection of an industrial city of days long past that has found its footing with solid urban planning, trendy, well-renovated bars and eateries—and with LeBron and a baseball team that we can’t seem to touch, a great sports city to boot. Here are some snaps from a weekend in Cleveland. Click any photo to expand. Xo.

  1. Thanks. Love my city too. Do come back and let us know. The food scene in Cleveland is fantastic right now. Can recommend lots of great places to visit. Also love Toronto. Amazing city.
