Iceland is a photographer’s paradise. End of story. I’ve had many close friends travel to this out-of-this-world island with stories of great adventure in remarkable landscapes.

I was only in Iceland for 10 days and was blown away by what I saw and captured. I did the Golden Circle tour with my mates at Intrepid Travel (you can see my pics on the website). We started out in the capital of Reykjavik before venturing out to the Golden Circle—Thingevellir National Park, Strokkur Geysir & Gullfoss Waterfall. From there we hit the breathtaking Skógafoss waterfall and onto a definite trip highlight at the glacier lagoon of Jökulsárlón. Intrepid rented me an SUV and I drove north in search of more epicness all the way up to Kirkjufellsfoss Waterfall for the next few days.

Follow along below with some of my favourite captures from Iceland. As you will see, the weather is wild in Iceland. It would suddenly start pouring as it did, hard, on many days. But this also added to the dramatic landscapes in front of my lens. Click any photo to expand.
